PADANG PANJANG, kiprahkita.net - Bank Nagari's Padang Panjang Branch has entered into a collaboration with Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang Batipuh X Koto (Pabasko).
The Cooperation Agreement or Perjanjian Kerjasama (PKS) was signed by the Head of the Padang Panjang Branch of Bank Nagari, Imelda Anggraini, and the Chairman of Muhammadiyah Regional Board (PDM) Pabasko, Musriadi Musanif, on Wednesday (10/7) at the Muhammadiyah A. Muin Saidi Hotel, within the Masjid Taqwa and Muhammadiyah Business Area Complex in Kauman, Padang Panjang.
The event was attended by the PDM Pabasko officials, the Regional Board of Aisyiyah (PDA), the Branch Board of Muhammadiyah (PCM), and the heads of Muhammadiyah Business Enterprises (AUM) throughout Pabasko.
Musriadi explained that this collaboration not only follows the instructions from the Central Board of Muhammadiyah and the Muhammadiyah Regional Board (PWM) of West Sumatra but also opens opportunities for Muhammadiyah members to utilize banking services, particularly at the Sharia Service Unit of Bank Nagari.
"AUM and the association ranks are expected to transfer their funds from banks not in collaboration with Muhammadiyah to Bank Nagari, especially the Sharia Service Unit. They may also use national banks that cooperate with Muhammadiyah," he stated.
Musriadi emphasized that Muhammadiyah members have an obligation to support the growth of Bank Nagari, as the bank's development will also benefit the community and Muhammadiyah members.
Following the signing of the PKS, Muhammadiyah's business ventures and members in the Pabasko region are encouraged to proactively communicate with Bank Nagari, particularly regarding financial management and financing for business units and institutions.
"Muhammadiyah members who are civil servants are already using Bank Nagari services. Muhammadiyah business ventures also have Bank Nagari accounts. Now, it is about how Muhammadiyah members can expand their businesses with Bank Nagari financing," he said.
Meanwhile, the deputy chairpersons of PDM Pabasko present at the event expressed their readiness to follow up on the PKS according to their respective areas of responsibility.
"We will follow this up by identifying and motivating Muhammadiyah members who are UMKM actors. There are many Bank Nagari services we can utilize to develop businesses and progress further," said PDM Pabasko Deputy Chairperson Muhammad Syafran, M.Sc.
On the occasion, Imelda emphasized that her team is ready to meet the financial management needs of Muhammadiyah Pabasko, both for its business ventures and members.
"Many Bank Nagari products can be utilized. This is an opportunity for Muhammadiyah members to seize. The PKS has opened the door for communication and coordination," she said.(*)
