PADANG PANJANG - On Sunday, June 30, 2024, PS Pemko Padang Panjang held a friendly match against the Singgalang All Star team at Khatib Sulaiman Bancahlaweh Field.
This match is part of the team's preparation for an upcoming tournament.
PS Pemko, reinforced by the Head of City Police and Fire Department (Damkar) Benny, and several former players of the Padang Panjang Football Association (PSPP) who excelled in the 2000s such as Elemen Fery, Dian Nofrian, Arif Johan, Dedi Rosadi, Kristian, and Amirudin, displayed an impressive performance by holding the strong team from Tanah Datar District to a 3-3 draw.
The Manager of PS Pemko, Rudi Bakhrizal, expressed satisfaction with his team's performance in this match. "The players showed solid and disciplined play. They executed our strategies well and created many scoring opportunities," he said.
Rudi added that this friendly match is a crucial step in preparing the team for the upcoming tournament.
"Through this match, we can identify the team's weaknesses and areas for improvement. We will schedule another friendly match before the tournament begins," he explained.
PS Pemko Padang Panjang is scheduled to participate in the U-40 tournament, the Sijunjung Regent's Cup 2024, which will be held at Prof. M. Yamin Stadium in Muaro Sijunjung in mid-July. The team is determined to achieve the best results in the tournament. (kominfopp)
