PASAMAN BARAT, kiprahkita.net - In celebration of the 21st Anniversary of Pasaman Barat Regency (Pasbar), the local government organized a community clean-up (goro) activity on Thursday (02/01/2025).
The event took place in the courtyard of the Grand Mosque Baitul Ilmi, Simpang Empat, involving all staff members of the Pasbar Regency Government.
The goro activity was directly led by the Deputy Regent of Pasaman Barat, Risnawanto, accompanied by Regional Secretary Hendra Putra, Assistant I Setia Bakti, Assistant II Endang Risapinta, Assistant III Raf’an, and several heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD).
Risnawanto explained that the activity aimed to strengthen patriotism, foster togetherness, and build the spirit of mutual cooperation to advance Pasaman Barat. This aligns with the theme of Pasbar’s 21st Anniversary: Towards an Advanced Pasaman Barat.
"This clean-up activity is a concrete effort to maintain environmental cleanliness, particularly in preparation for Pasbar’s 21st Anniversary. Additionally, it underscores the importance of shared responsibility in creating a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment," said Risnawanto.
At the end of the event, Risnawanto expressed his gratitude to all parties for their participation. He hoped that Pasaman Barat would continue to grow and progress in the future.
According to him, this community clean-up symbolizes the spirit of togetherness among Pasbar's people in welcoming the regency’s 21st anniversary.
